Design Pirates Holiday Camp

WHO? For kids aged 7-12. No experience necessary. All welcome!

WHAT IS IT?

A three day design & creativity camp engineered to build creative confidence, practice problem solving and learn positive collaboration - while having a super fun time!

IDEA MUSCLES & FLAG BATTLES AHEAD:

Pirates need to be able to think on their feet so on Day 1 we train our idea muscles by designing and building awesome solutions to wicked problems!

Day 2 we take inspiration from things we’ve seen on our travels, practicing self expression and enjoying getting into the flow of making.

The old Jolly Roger needs an upgrade so on Day 3 we split into teams designing a new flag for our crew, all the while practicing positive collaboration and honing our soft materials skills.

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL:

To keep our creative juices flowing throughout the day we have kidnapped a real-life circus princess who will host a range of fun & games between sessions. (It’s true!)

WHAT YOUR CHILD WILL EXPERIENCE & TAKE HOME:

YOUR FACILITATORS:

Head pirate Anna is a creative consultant and designer with 15 years experience working in Sweden and Australia and holds a Masters Degree in Industrial Design.

Maggie is a circus princess/instructor with experience teaching circus to kids in Germany and Australia. She holds a degree in Fine Arts.

Both have Working with Children Checks and First Aid certificates.
