Seeking enthusiastic fruit growers to join a 12 month program to learn how to establish & care for a home orchard. MMMCH has partnered with Grow Great Fruit to offer a comprehensive package of online resources, in person workshops and community mentoring to a select group of volunteers.

About the Event
Over 12 months, members of the Macedon Fruit Crew will learn to care for the 20+ fruit trees in the community food forest at Macedon & Mt Macedon Community House, with support from our partners at Grow Great Fruit (GGF) in Harcourt. Members will have access to weekly online classes and a comprehensive online content library as well as regular in person workshops, hands on experience in the community garden and group mentoring with Katie & Hugh from GGF.
Participating in Macedon Fruit Crew will give you the knowledge, skills and hands on experience to confidently establish and care for a backyard orchard of your own. We're looking for people who are either planning for - or already have - fruit trees at home and who are ready to grow a meaningful portion of their own fruit at home in the Macedon Ranges.
