About the Event

UPDATE: Registered attendees should have received an email with the details of our meeting point on Friday 9th May. Please contact emilyjeanrogers@gmail.com if you haven't received this email.

What's included?

The half day Nature Connection experience includes nature observation and awareness practices such as sit spot, natural movement, tracking, bird language and expanded sensory awareness as well as ancestral skills such as cordage (working with fibres), and fire-by-friction. Attendees will learn practices for paying attention to the seasons, weather patterns, waterways, ecosystems, flora, fauna and geography of a place. Reawakening these innate capacities in humans for connection to the natural world deepens the sense of belonging to place and enhances wellbeing, while also creating a sense of care and responsibility - we are more likely to protect that which we love.
