Shaping the next 5 years at mmmch

On Saturday 19 September, a happy crowd of volunteers and locals gathered at 47 Victoria Street to help shape the Community House's next five-year plan, and to enjoy a cuppa and a chat along the way.

Facilitated by MosaicLab, the session asked people to test the House's purpose and values against their own experience, and to say plainly what's working, what MMMCH should grow, and what's missing. Ideas ranged from more daytime activities and better ways to reach people who feel isolated, through to community resilience and emergency preparedness.

The Committee has now worked through all the feedback, with the updated draft now available for wider community comment.
