Duneira Festival - volunteers needed!

ree

Duneira Estate is holding the Bluebell Festival on the last weekend in October Saturday 25 & Sunday 26 from 10:00am – 4:00pm. To support the festival we are looking for M&MMCH volunteers to help out over the weekend.

Duneira Estate is planning to donate a portion of the proceeds to the Macedon & Mount Macedon Community House. We are also running the sausage sizzle with the funds going to the M&MMCH!

We need volunteers for the front gate, the Duneira homestead and the M&MMCH sausage sizzle. The shifts are 2 hours: 10-12; 12-2; 2-4. For each shift we need 2-3 volunteers.

In return, all volunteers will receive free entry to enjoy the Duneira garden and homestead, a voucher for a sausage sandwich and cold drink (from the sausage sizzle) and a coffee.

Please nominate your availability for what your preference for work area, the day and time (feel free to do both days or extra shifts!!)

  • Front Gate (2 per shift) – responsible for checking tickets, selling tickets and directing visitors to parking options (there will be a captain for this to provide guidance).

  • BBQ (3 per shift) – we need a cook, a food handler and someone responsible for payments. There will also be a BBQ captain to oversee the operation!

  • House (2 per shift) – there needs to be people in the house to help with ushering visitors around the self-navigating tour.

Please email your details including preferences and mobile number to our coordinators - Mark and Jacinta Cloney mjcloney@gmail.com

Big thank you in advance - it should be a fun weekend!!
